    About this course:
    This 5 week throwing on potter’s wheel and glazing course is for those interested in learning how to make and glaze ceramics. It is suitable for all levels, no prior knowledge of pottery is required. The course is ideal for beginners or makers who want to improve their throwing skills. The last session of the course will be dedicated to glazing pots with the wide range of glazes available in the studio. This pottery making course is full of practical demonstrations and plenty of making time covering: – Clay preparation – Centering – Throwing a variety of shapes – Turning – Glazing We are able to give you dedicated support and full access to the equipment while you learn. The zise of the class is 7 people, and it is run by a tutor with 10 years of teaching experience. Suitable for all levels, no prior knowledge of pottery is required to attend this class. The session is ideal as a taster for beginners, and as an opportunity to focus on throwing technique for those who would like to improve their skills. You will practice with the support of an experienced tutor. The class size is 6 people. All clay and a firing are included in workshop price. The workshop running times are 2:30 – 5pm on Saturdays.
